Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4: Chassis Price Starts from Rp 625 Million
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) launched the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 at the Giicomvec 2026 event on Wednesday (8/4/2026). This latest bus model is specially designed to support operations in heavy terrain, such as plantations and manhaul in mining areas. Susilo Darmawan, Sales & After Sales Director of HMSI, stated that the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 is priced starting from Rp 625 million. This price is for the chassis only, excluding the body from the coachbuilder. The Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 also already has a Type Test Certificate (SUT), allowing it to be registered and operated legally on public roads. In terms of specifications, the wheelbase is 4,000 mm, with a length of 7,185 mm, width of 2,045 mm, and height of 2,220 mm. This Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 features a Touristo body made by the coachbuilder New Armada. The coachbuilding cost for this design is around Rp 500 million. This six-tyred bus is equipped with a 4x4 drive system, where the transfer case functions to distribute power to the front and rear wheels effectively in off-road conditions. Additionally, the bus is fitted with a front stabiliser and wider front track width to enhance vehicle stability and reduce body roll, as well as high ground clearance to safely navigate rough, steep, rocky, and uphill roads. Using the Euro4 standard N04C engine, the Hino Bus 136 MDBL 4x4 is also designed for intensive operation up to 24 hours in harsh working environments.
