Hino and Fuso Integration: ARCHION Lists on Tokyo Stock Exchange
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The company resulting from the integration of Hino Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, namely ARCHION Corporation, was officially listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market on 1 April 2026. This listing also marks ARCHION’s commencement of full operations as a new group in the commercial vehicle industry. ARCHION serves as the holding company overseeing Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso, while consolidating the strengths of both in a single entity. This new structure is expected to accelerate the transformation of the global commercial vehicle industry. “ARCHION unites two of Asia’s strongest commercial vehicle brands, FUSO and Hino, which have strong roots, proven technology, and customer trust built over decades,” stated Deppen in an official statement on Sunday (5/4/2026). He added that the synergy of teams and technology will strengthen support for customers in various markets. On the product and technology front, ARCHION will leverage the long experience of both brands, including the development of zero-emission vehicles and autonomous technology. Collaboration with Daimler Truck and Toyota Motor Corporation will also be key in optimising development and production. CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso, Franziska Cusumano, views this integration as opening opportunities to accelerate innovation. “Joining ARCHION allows us to go further, accelerate modular platforms, create large-scale synergies, and deliver greater value to customers,” said Cusumano. Meanwhile, President of Hino, Satyakam Arya, reaffirmed the commitment to the future of sustainable transportation. “As part of ARCHION, we are ready to collaborate with Mitsubishi Fuso, focusing on good governance, teamwork, reliable products, enhancing customer value, and moving towards carbon neutrality,” said Arya.
