HIMASI UBSI Tasikmalaya Presents Informative Podcast on the Importance of Student Organizations
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TASIKMALAYA - The Student Association of Information Systems (HIMASI) at the University of Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Tasikmalaya campus has once again presented educational content through an inspiring podcast on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. This podcast discusses the role of students in organizations and provides an overview of the world of lectures in the Information Systems study program.
This podcast is one of HIMASI’s creative communication media to provide insights to students, especially regarding the importance of organization as a means of self-development. Through this platform, students are invited to understand how organizational experiences can shape character, improve skills, and prepare for the world of work.
The Chair of HIMASI UBSI Tasikmalaya campus, Ibah Misbah, said that this podcast is expected to provide a real picture to students about the benefits of organization.
“Through this podcast, we want to provide a real picture to students about the importance of organization as a means of self-development. HIMASI is not just a place to gather, but also a space to learn and collaborate,” he said in a press release on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
In the discussion, it was explained that Information Systems students have a strategic role as a bridge between business needs and technological solutions. The competencies learned include systems analysis, database management, and information technology project management.
In addition, the podcast also discusses the differences between the Information Systems and Informatics study programs. This way, students can better understand the direction and prospects of the chosen field of science.
Ibah also highlighted that organizational experience provides many benefits, such as improving communication skills, problem-solving, and good time management.
“Challenges in organizations, such as managing different characters and dividing time, are actually a learning process that shapes students’ leadership spirit,” he said.
