Highlighting Global Uncertainty, Prabowo: We Must Build Unity and Harmony
President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the world’s current state of uncertainty and various challenges threatening global peace during his address at the National Commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1447 H/2026 M at the State Palace on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
The President noted that the current global situation demonstrates complex geopolitical dynamics. According to the Head of State, despite the considerable power wielded by several nations, efforts to maintain world peace continue to face numerous obstacles.
“In the midst of a world today full of uncertainty, indeed full of danger, where many leaders in the world who possess great power are not successfully maintaining the peace that we need, that all of humanity needs,” Prabowo stated.
In addressing this situation, the Head of State emphasised that the Indonesian nation must continue to strengthen unity and harmony as fundamental assets for confronting various global challenges. President Prabowo also called upon all segments of society to maintain harmony and collective spirit to strengthen national resilience.
“We as an Indonesian nation, along with many other nations, need to forge unity amongst ourselves, build harmony amongst ourselves to face this situation full of uncertainty, to face this situation full of danger,” he added.
President Prabowo also reminded the nation that Indonesia must remain optimistic and confident that truth will ultimately prevail. With strong determination and commitment, the President expressed conviction that Indonesia’s shared aspirations can be achieved.
“We must be confident that in the end, what is right will triumph. That we will achieve what we aspire to with very clear and firm resolve, and God willing, what we aspire to we shall achieve together,” he said.
The Head of State also reiterated his responsibility as President to protect all Indonesian people and safeguard national integrity.
“As President of the Republic of Indonesia, I am always mindful of the duty entrusted to me, namely to protect all of Indonesian soil and all Indonesian people,” he asserted.
