Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) assesses that the domestic capital market remains solid amid high volatility due to geopolitical pressures and global uncertainties. The Executive Head of OJK’s Capital Market, Financial Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervision, Hasan Fawzi, stated that the current condition of the Indonesian stock market demonstrates resilience despite a year-to-date correction of 16.91 per cent. According to Hasan, this condition more accurately reflects the influence of external dynamics rather than a response solely to domestic economic fundamentals. Furthermore, Hasan emphasised that market liquidity is considered stable, with bid-ask spreads recorded at 1.54 times, indicating that trading conditions are still relatively good. In the mutual fund industry, net asset value continues to show positive growth, reaching Rp695.71 trillion, or an increase of 3.02 per cent year-to-date.
