JAKARTA - Return traffic for Eid al-Fitr 2026 from the eastern Trans-Java regions to Jakarta continues to show high vehicle volumes entering H+9.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded that during the period from Eid Day to H+9 (21-30 March 2026), 670,470 vehicles passed through heading to Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.

This figure represents a significant increase of 135.77% compared to normal traffic of 284,375 vehicles.

“Meanwhile, data from shift 1 on 31 March 2026 recorded 10,607 vehicles, an increase of 36.18% from normal traffic of 7,789 vehicles. This data indicates that return traffic from the eastern Trans-Java regions is still ongoing,” said Ria, quoted from an official statement, Wednesday (1 April 2026).

Ria added that with the end of the Eid mudik and return period, JTT continues to optimise services at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate by operating 17 toll booths for the Jakarta direction and 13 for the Java direction.

“In addition, through PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, JTT is still implementing a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road section, valid until 31 March 2026,” said Ria.
