High Gold Demand Spurs Galeri 24 Expansion

High demand for gold products is driving businesses to expand their retail networks across various regions. The addition of outlets is also being undertaken to broaden public access to gold and jewellery trading services.

PT Pegadaian, through its subsidiary Galeri 24, has officially inaugurated the Galeri 24 J-Store in the Summarecon Bekasi area, West Java. The Director of Galeri 2lag, Endah Susiani, stated that this outlet marks the 15th store operated by the company.

“Galeri 24 is here to bring ourselves closer to the people of Bekasi. Our hope is that the community can more easily obtain gold through the products we offer,” Endah said in a written statement on Tuesday (30/06/2026).

Endah explained that the outlet provides various services, ranging from the buying and selling of gold, consignment, and jewellery repairs, to buyback services. The company also facilitates the repurchase of damaged gold, gold without receipts, and old gold that was not originally purchased from Galeri 24.

Furthermore, Galeri 24 provides gold bars, jewellery, and custom gold-making services according to customer requirements.

According to Endah, Galeri 24 also continues to educate the public regarding gold as a long-term investment instrument.

“Gold is a safe haven. Therefore, buying gold does not require anxiety; anyone can purchase it,” she said.

Endah added that the company plans to open its 16th outlet in Gajah Mada, Jember, and its 17th outlet in Antasari, Lampung, by the end of the year.
