High demand for gold products is encouraging businesses to expand their retail networks across various regions. The addition of outlets is also aimed at broadening public access to gold and jewellery trading services. PT Pegadaian’s subsidiary, Galeri 24, has inaugurated the Galeri 24 J-Store in the Summarecon Bekasi area, West Java. Galeri 24 Director Endah Susiani stated that this outlet is the 15th store operated by the company. “Galeri 24 is here to get closer to the Bekasi community. We hope the public will find it easier to obtain gold with the products we have,” Endah said in a written statement on Tuesday (30/6/2026). Endah explained that the outlet provides various services, including gold buying and selling, consignment, jewellery repair, and buyback services. The company also accepts the repurchase of damaged gold, gold without receipts, and old gold not originally purchased from Galeri 24. In addition, Galeri 24 offers gold bars, jewellery, and custom gold manufacturing services according to customer needs. According to Endah, Galeri 24 also continues to educate the public about gold as a long-term investment instrument. “Gold is a safe haven. So buying gold requires no worry; anyone can buy it,” she said. Endah added that the company plans to open its 16th outlet in Gajah Mada, Jember, and its 17th outlet in Antasari, Lampung, by the end of the year.
