The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has seized a luxury Lamborghini Huracan in connection with a corruption case involving the governance of a bauxite Mining Business Permit (IUP) for PT Quality Success Sejahtera (QSS) in West Kalimantan for the 2017-2025 period. Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated that the seized luxury car asset belongs to suspect Sudianto, also known as Aseng, the beneficial owner of PT QSS. “Investigators discovered an asset belonging to suspect SDT, alias Sudianto, alias Aseng, a Lamborghini Huracan from 2022, which was hidden in an alley and its keys were thrown into a ditch,” he said in a written statement on Friday (3/7). In addition to the luxury car, investigators also seized a Toyota Fortuner, a Camry, and heavy mining equipment including excavators and dump trucks. The details include 46 units of dump trucks, 10 units of excavators, 2 units of bulldozers, and 3 units of operational mining vehicles of the Triton brand. Anang further stated that the seizure also targeted houses and land belonging to suspect Aseng. He explained that this action was taken to recover state losses caused by the case. “In accordance with its commitment to recovering state losses, not just through criminal prosecution,” he said. The Attorney General’s Office had previously named five suspects in the alleged corruption case involving the mismanagement of PT QSS’s IUP in West Kalimantan. Beneficial owner Sudianto, alias Aseng, is considered to have been directly involved in mining activities outside the permitted area by controlling all company activities. The other four suspects are YA, a Commissioner of PT QSS; IA, a licensing consultant for PT QSS and Director of PT BMU; AP, a Director of PT QSS; and HSFD, a Mining Analyst at the Directorate of Mineral Enterprise Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
