Hichens Harrison opens RI branch

LONDON: Hichens, Harrison, a London stockbroker, said on Friday
that it has established Hichens, Harrison (Asia) Ltd. as a 100
percent owned subsidiary and has opened its first international
branch in Jakarta.

This expansion strategy has been implemented as a result of
the increasing flow of corporate business into Hichens, Harrison
from the surrounding Asian region, the company said.

The Company has already advised on a number of corporate
transactions on behalf of a range of far-eastern companies
including South China Resources, the Chinese copper mining
business, Kryso Resources, The Tajikistan gold mine and Singapore
and Malaysian education group AEC Education among several others.

Patrick Alexander, a former diplomat and resident of Indonesia
for 28 years has agreed to join the Board of Hichens, Harrison
(Asia) Ltd. -- Dow Jones
