Hezbollah claims 21 attacks on Israeli forces in a day
Beirut (ANTARA) - Lebanese Hezbollah said on Monday (1 June) that it had launched 21 military operations against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon and northern Israel the previous day.
“The Islamic Resistance conducted 21 combat operations on 31 May 2026, including attacks on Israeli personnel, equipment, and military facilities in response to ceasefire violations and attacks on civilians,” the group’s military wing stated.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted Israeli military concentrations with rockets, artillery, and attack drones in areas including Bayada, Debel, Quzah, Dibbine, Yahmar al-Shaqif, Maroun al-Ras, and the historic Beaufort Castle.
The group reported drone strikes on helicopter landing strips in Shlomi, facilities in Nahariya, the Krayot area north of Haifa, Safed, and military positions in Hanita.
Hezbollah stated that some of the attacks hit their intended targets.
The group described its actions as efforts to defend Lebanese territory and people, and as retaliation for ongoing Israeli attacks and ceasefire breaches.
