Jakarta – PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk has donated the use of Morooka MST800 carrier dump units to the people of Pidie Jaya District, Aceh Province, in collaboration with PT Berlian Amal Perkasa and Morooka Co., Ltd. This humanitarian donation, leveraging the company’s expertise in heavy equipment, aims to ease the burden on affected communities and accelerate recovery efforts.

Dwi Swasono, President Director of PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk, stated that Hexindo is donating the use of Morooka MST800 carrier dump units to support rehabilitation and reconstruction processes in disaster-affected areas of Pidie Jaya District. The heavy equipment is expected to expedite material clearance, soil relocation, and logistics mobility in regions with difficult terrain that conventional vehicles cannot easily access.

“As a provider of heavy equipment products and services in Indonesia, Hexindo is not only committed to serving as a one-stop solution for the heavy equipment industry, but also continues striving to contribute to society. We hope that the use of the Morooka MST800 carrier dump unit, which is specifically designed for heavy-duty terrain work, can help accelerate recovery processes in disaster-affected regions in Aceh and support more effective field operations,” said Dwi on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The Morooka carrier dump is well-known in Japan for supporting post-disaster recovery. Consequently, Daisuke Hirata, President Director of PT Berlian Amal Perkasa, and Noboru Morooka, Managing Director of Morooka Co., Ltd, proposed the use of Morooka carrier dumps to support post-disaster recovery. Hexindo has provided support in the form of Morooka transport trucks with backing from Morooka Co., Ltd. and PT Berlian Amal Perkasa.

Previously, Hexindo donated the use of several ZX210F-5G excavator units across various regions in Sumatra. One example saw heavy equipment delivered to the North Aceh District Government for use in repairs to Sawang Village, Lhok Pungki Hamlet, Gunci Gampong, and other areas. The equipment was deployed for clearing flood-related debris and accelerating repairs to damaged road access and basic infrastructure. Similar operational support has been mobilised for West Sumatra, according to field response requirements.
