Herry Presetyo Wanted by Yogyakarta Police for Fraud and Embezzlement

The Yogyakarta Regional Police (Polda Jogja) are searching for a man named Herry Presetyo (54) in connection with a case of fraud and embezzlement. The appeal was posted on Polda Jogja’s Threads account on Tuesday (23/6/2026), accompanied by a photograph of Herry, who has short hair, thick eyebrows, and a thin moustache.

“The suspect is alleged to have committed the criminal acts of fraud or embezzlement, as stipulated in Article 492 of the Criminal Code (Article 378 of the old Criminal Code) and/or Article 486 of the Criminal Code (Article 372 of the old Criminal Code),” the Polda Jogja statement read.

He was designated a fugitive and placed on the wanted list (DPO) by Polda Jogja on 22 June 2026. The basis for the DPO designation is recorded under number DPO/10/VI/RES.1.11./2026/Ditreskrimum. The post noted that Herry is self-employed and his last known address was in Santan, Kalongan, Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman. He is also listed as having an address in Temanggung.

Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance. “If you find or have information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts, please contact the nearest police station or the Police Call Centre at 110. WA Ditreskrimum Polda DIY: 0813-2680-2328,” the statement concluded.
