Hero Supermarket apologizes

I am writing in reference to Mr. Verdi's letter (Pikiran
Rakyat June 24).

On behalf of Hero Supermarket's management we would like to
apologize for the misconduct of our employee while you were
shopping at our outlet situated on Jl. Maskumambang in Bandung on
June 13.

At the same time, we thank you for the letter because it
reminds us to continually improve our services in the future for
the benefit of our customers.

We also would like to emphasize that employees of the
packaging department are refrained from excepting tips for their
service from customers, simply because it is part of their job.

We look forward to having you shop again at Hero.
