Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Hospital operator PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk. (HEAL) recorded a 14.08% year-on-year (yoy) decline in net profit during the first half of 2026, even as the company’s revenue continued to grow. Referring to the company’s financial report, profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity up to June 2026 was recorded at Rp193.18 billion. In the same period the previous year, the company posted a net profit of Rp224.85 billion. The profit decline occurred amid a revenue increase to Rp3.60 trillion up to June 2026, a 6.51% rise compared to Rp3.38 trillion in the first half of 2025. However, cost of revenue also increased to Rp2.37 trillion from the previous Rp2.19 trillion. HEAL’s revenue was supported by inpatient revenue of Rp2.25 trillion, while outpatient revenue contributed Rp1.27 trillion. Non-hospital revenue contributed Rp84.19 billion to total revenue. On the other hand, operating expenses rose to Rp804.11 billion, mainly due to a surge in marketing and advertising expenses to Rp4.05 billion from Rp1.51 billion, as well as an increase in licensing, retribution, and taxation expenses to Rp20.12 billion from Rp11.03 billion. In terms of capital, as of June 2026, the company recorded assets of Rp11.99 trillion, an increase compared to the position of Rp11.88 trillion on 31 December 2025. HEAL’s liabilities and equity were recorded at Rp4.89 trillion and Rp7.09 trillion, respectively, at the end of June 2026.
