Taman Bendera Pusaka in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta is currently one of the most visited public spaces by residents since it was officially opened to the public.

Jakarta Parks and Forestry Department Head Fajar Sauri stated that the surge in visitors has even overwhelmed the parking area to accommodate vehicles, especially on weekends.

“We have reopened parking in the Red Pavilion area, directing motorcycles inside. Although the numbers do exceed capacity due to high visitor enthusiasm,” Fajar told Kompas.com on Friday (30/4/2026).

In the afternoon, the area is dominated by families and children enjoying various facilities, from playgrounds to feeding fish and birds.

Meanwhile, at night, the atmosphere becomes livelier with the presence of young people and families.

“Those bringing families enjoy the fountain show and the more vibrant park atmosphere until late at night,” said Fajar.

Taman Bendera Pusaka itself is the result of merging three parks: Taman Leuser, Taman Langsat, and Taman Ayodya.

Throughout 2025, these three parks were closed for revitalisation before being united into one green open space area.

Based on visitor data throughout April 2026, the three parks combined in the Taman Bendera Pusaka area show a trend of increasing visits, especially on weekends.

Taman Ayodya remained relatively stable with 199 visitors in the first week, 197 in the second week, 278 in the third week, and 287 in the fourth week.

Meanwhile, Taman Langsat was the most visited with 1,267 visitors in the first week, 286 in the second week, 689 in the third week, and surging to 3,085 visitors in the fourth week.

This park was officially inaugurated by DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung on 15 March 2026, and opened to the public in April 2026. The inauguration was also attended by Indonesia’s 5th President Megawati Soekarnoputri.

“Alhamdulillah, Taman Bendera Pusaka can now be utilised by the community,” said Pramono in his speech.

The park is also equipped with various facilities, including bridges connecting the parks and an underground tunnel linking the Taman Langsat and Ayodya areas, allowing visitors to move between areas easily.
