Former Indonesian President Megawati Soekarnoputri, accompanied by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and Deputy Governor Rano Karno, attended the official inauguration of Taman Bendera Pusaka in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, on Saturday, 14 March 2026.

The Jakarta Provincial Government inaugurated the 5.6-hectare park, which will operate 24 hours daily, as part of efforts to increase green open space in the capital to reach 30 per cent by 2045. The park features recreational facilities and play areas for residents, providing new amenities in the Kebayoran Baru district.

The opening of Taman Bendera Pusaka represents a significant step in the provincial government’s environmental sustainability agenda, addressing the need for adequate green space in Jakarta’s increasingly dense urban landscape.
