Businessman Heri Setiyono, also known as Heri Black, has denied ownership of a container recently searched by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at Tanjung Emas Port. Heri made the denial after being questioned as a witness in a suspected import bribery case at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. “No, it is not mine,” Heri told reporters at the KPK building in South Jakarta on Thursday.

He also stated that he did not know any of the suspects in the case. Alongside Heri, the KPK also examined Sri Pangestuti, a customs brokerage service entrepreneur from Bali.

This marked the second examination for Heri Black, following an initial session earlier in May. A KPK spokesperson stated that investigators questioned Heri about findings from the container search in Semarang, specifically probing records of payments made to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise.

The case began with a sting operation by the KPK, which initially named six suspects and seized evidence worth a total of IDR 40.5 billion. A seventh suspect was later added. Those named include Rizal, former Director of Enforcement and Investigation at the Customs and Excise Directorate General, along with several other officials and private sector employees from PT Blueray.
