Hercules Team Reports Bahar's Son IF to Police for Spreading Exaggerated News and Defaming Reputation

The legal team of GRIB Jaya’s chairman, Hercules Rosario Marshal, visited Polda Metro Jaya on Monday (25 May 2026) to file a report against Ahmad Bahar’s son, identified as IF, for spreading excessive information. Hika T Putra, spokesperson for GRIB Jaya’s Legal and Advocacy Team, stated they received a special power of attorney from Hercules to report IF and associates to the police. He claimed IF disseminated false information about Hercules on social media and mass media. ‘Yes, today we reported IF and associates. The accused in the report are IF and associates,’ he said at Polda Metro Jaya on Monday evening. According to him, IF spread incomplete, uncertain, and exaggerated reports, which damaged Hercules’ reputation. Hence, they filed the case with the police. ‘As our country is a rule of law, he has legal rights, so when he is legally harmed, we will process it through applicable laws,’ Hika said. The registered report, numbered LP/B/3749/V/2026/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, concerns allegations of spreading false information under Article 264 of Law No. 1 of 2023 on the Criminal Code (KUHP).
