The Association of Indonesian Direct Selling Companies (AP2LI) held the Helmy Attamimi Award 2026, a biennial recognition programme that commenced in 2020 for member companies to strengthen Indonesia’s direct selling industry. The competition is designed not merely as an awards ceremony, but as a collective commitment to building a direct selling industry characterised by integrity, professionalism, and sustainability.

“This competition is designed by AP2LI specifically to foster healthy competition within the industry, so that direct selling will continue to develop and grow,” stated Andrew Susanto, Chairman of AP2LI, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jakarta.

The Helmy Attamimi Award 2026 was attended by 167 direct selling companies and several state institutions connected to the industry, including the Ministry of Trade, BKPM, Kadin Indonesia, and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).

QNET, a leading global direct selling company focused on lifestyle and health products, received recognition from AP2LI. At this year’s event, QNET received four company nominations: CSR Excellence, Head Office Design, Product Packaging Design, and Most Innovative Product. In the individual category, Ganang Rindarko, Deputy Chairman of QNET Indonesia, was selected as CEO of The Year.

“I am grateful and proud to have been selected as CEO of The Year at the Helmy Attamimi Award 2026. I hope this will serve as motivation to continue improving the direct selling ecosystem,” said Ganang Rindarko.

During its 28 years of operation, QNET has contributed to driving Indonesia’s economy through the direct selling industry based on multilevel marketing. The global company has also focused on Indonesian products, marketing QBerry and QMEN’s Series, which are produced domestically.

This approach aligns with the Ministry of Trade and AP2LI’s efforts to promote local products through direct selling channels. “In other words, QNET aligns with the spirit of the Ministry of Trade and AP2LI in making products available through the direct selling system,” emphasised Ganang Rindarko.

Iqbal Shoffan Shofwan, Director General of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Trade, noted that whilst direct selling is not heavily regulated in many countries, Indonesia has implemented strict regulations for multilevel business operations.

“The increasing number of Indonesian direct selling companies and those selling Indonesian products will certainly boost Indonesia’s economy,” he stated. “For this reason, we commend and thank all AP2LI members who continue to advocate for and implement the code of ethics for direct selling throughout Indonesia.”

The Helmy Attamimi Award represents the name of Helmy Attamimi, a respected figure in Indonesia’s direct selling industry known for his exemplary conduct, integrity, and dedication to developing the sector. Helmy Attamimi worked extensively to secure government recognition and clear legal framework for the direct selling industry in Indonesia.
