PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, together with PT ASABRI (Persero), has handed over entitlements and compensation to the heirs of the late General (Ret.) Ryamizard Ryacudu as a form of commitment to providing protection and services to pensioners and their families. The distribution of compensation was carried out directly to the heir, drg. Nora Tristyana, at the family residence in the Cijantung area, East Jakarta, on Monday (8/6). The compensation provided includes Death Benefits (UDW) and Pensioner Funeral Expenses (BPPP), which were disbursed through a Bank Mandiri Taspen account.

The activity was attended by the management of Bank Mandiri Taspen alongside representatives from PT ASABRI (Persero), demonstrating the synergy between institutions in providing the best services to participants and their families. The President Director of Bank Mandiri Taspen, Panji Ivoran, expressed deep condolences for the passing of the late General (Ret.) Ryamizard Ryacudu. He noted that the distribution of entitlements to the heirs is expected to provide benefits and assist the bereaved family.

“The distribution of participant entitlements is part of our commitment to ensuring that all benefits belonging to participants are received accurately and on time by the heirs. We also express our condolences for the passing of the deceased and pray that the family left behind is granted fortitude,” he stated. General (Ret.) Ryamizard Ryacudu passed away at the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta on Sunday (31/5) at 14:03 WIB, after undergoing treatment in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Ryamizard was a retired high-ranking officer of the Indonesian Army who served as the Army Chief of Staff from 2002 to 2005. During the administration of Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo, Ryamizard was entrusted as the Minister of Defence for the 2014–2019 period. Ryamizard Ryacudu was buried with military honours at the Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery in Jakarta on Monday (1/6) afternoon. The solemn ceremony, which took place from 11:55 to 12:30 WIB, was led by Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin as the ceremony inspector. In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 33 of 1964, each heir received compensation amounting to Rp50 million.
