Special Provisions for Affirmative Action Regions

For applicants from Melanesian regions (Papua Provincial Police and surrounding areas) as well as remote areas, special provisions apply:

• Coastal areas: Men minimum 163 cm, women minimum 158 cm.

• Mountainous areas: Men minimum 160 cm, women minimum 155 cm.

• Consume nutrition high in calcium and vitamin D.

Can a height of 164 cm qualify for the Non-Commissioned Officer route?

For the general route, the minimum requirement is 165 cm. A shortfall of 1 cm still results in failure to meet requirements (TMS) at the initial administrative screening stage.
