Heavy Traffic Leads to One-Way System on Bogor Puncak Road This Morning

Traffic management measures implementing a one-way system on Bogor’s Puncak Road in West Java were enforced this morning, directing traffic from Jakarta towards Puncak.

Inspector Ardian Novianto, Head of Operations for Bogor Regency Traffic Police (Satlantas), stated on Saturday, 30 May 2026, that preparations for the one-way system began at 5:00 WIB as vehicle volumes surged towards Puncak. He reported approximately 1,200 vehicles exiting Ciawi Toll between 5:00-6:00 WIB, 1,600 between 6:00-7:00 WIB, and over 2,000 between 7:00-8:00 WIB.

The one-way system was implemented at 7:30 WIB to prevent long queues once toll exit numbers reached 2,000. It remained in effect until 8:20 WIB at Simpang Gadog.

The one-way system is applied situationally based on traffic volume and will be lifted once traffic returns to normal levels. Authorities will maintain the system until the surge in vehicles heading to Puncak decreases.
