Jakarta, Kompas.com - Heavy rain that fell from Saturday night (7 March 2026) to Sunday morning (8 March 2026) caused a number of road sections to flood and become impassable to vehicles. According to information from the Traffic Management Center of Metro Jaya Police, on Sunday (4 March 2026) there were floodings on several road sections. Among them is Jalan Satrio Grogol in West Jakarta. Since 03:44 WIB, that road has been flooded to a height of 30 cm; vehicles can still pass. However officers continued to urge motorists to proceed with caution. Flooding also occurred on Jalan Swadarma Raya, Ulujami, Pesanggaragan in South Jakarta, where the water level was deep enough that vehicles could not pass.
