Head of Traffic Police Calls for Preparedness Ahead of 2026 Eid Holiday Exodus

A number of traffic police personnel (Polantas) attended a morning briefing led by the Head of Traffic Police (Kakorlantas) Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho at the National Traffic Management Centre (NTMC) Korlantas headquarters in Jakarta on Monday, 9 March 2026.

On this occasion, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho reiterated the importance of enhancing public service, personnel discipline, and preparedness among officers to manage the expected flow of travellers during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus (mudik). This emphasis forms part of the broader Police transformation initiative aimed at creating a more modern, humane, and community-oriented institution.
