Head of Padang Ati Islamic Boarding School in Pekalongan Named Suspect in Sexual Violence Case Involving Six Alleged Victims

PEKALONGAN — Abdul Khalim Fadlun, 54, head of Padang Ati Islamic Boarding School in Buaran Subdistrict, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java, has been named a suspect in a sexual violence case involving female students. Currently, six alleged victims have been identified.

Pekalongan City Police Chief AKBP Riki Yariandi stated that the force received the initial report of alleged sexual violence by the boarding school head in early May 2026. Following the report, police immediately initiated an investigation, including evidence collection and witness statements.

‘There are approximately six victims, though there may be more, but for now, six,’ Riki said when contacted on Thursday (28 May 2026).

After gathering evidence and witness testimonies, Pekalongan City Police formally named Abdul Khalim Fadlun as a suspect, leading to his detention early Thursday morning.

‘Based on the investigation by the Pekalongan City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, the suspect meets several legal elements and we have obtained evidence, including witness statements and psychological expert testimony. That is why we have officially named him a suspect today,’ Riki added.
