Head of National Nutrition Agency: Report Individuals Demanding Bribes for SPPG Operations

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sudaryono, has requested that partners immediately report any individuals demanding monetary rewards for the operations of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG).

“If there are individuals offering services or requesting money claiming to represent me or other leaders, I assure you that such reports are untrue. As victims, you are obliged to report immediately to the police so that these criminal acts can be promptly addressed,” he stated via his official channel, as quoted from Jakarta on Sunday.

The BGN emphasised that it has never granted authority to anyone to open, facilitate, or negotiate with partners regarding the operations of the SPPG.

“There are individuals impersonating me, the Deputy Head, or any other leader, offering incentives by promising to assist kitchens that are not yet operational to start running. I assure you that this is a lie and constitutes the criminal act of fraud,” said the man affectionately known as Mas Dar.

“Furthermore, there have been findings where SPPG heads were not present at their posts. As the leaders of these kitchens, they must ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (S_OPs) are followed. Consequently, we have issued a circular stating that the working hours for ASN PPPK SPPG heads coincide with the kitchen’s operational hours, from 02:00 to 08:00 in the morning, plus an additional two hours during the receipt of raw materials in the afternoon,” he added.

Mas Dar emphasised that all SPPG heads are required to implement the SOPs of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme, ranging from storage protocols and wearing gloves during the monitoring of cooking and portioning processes, to using head coverings to maintain hygiene. He also threatened to dishonourably dismiss any SPPG head who is absent from the kitchen for ten consecutive days.
