Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana stated the Reviu MBG application aims to collect feedback from beneficiaries. The app, launched on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, is also intended to assess the quality of services and menus for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. ‘Users can check service quality, menu quality, and delivery accuracy,’ Dadan said when contacted on Friday, 29 May 2026. BGN will appoint beneficiary person-in-charges (PICs) to use the Reviu MBG app. PICs include teachers, posyandu heads, and pesantren administrators. ‘PICs from each beneficiary group are required to access the app and provide assessments,’ Dadan said. Dadan added that the app enables BGN to monitor Nutrition Service Units (SPPG). ‘BGN can directly monitor which SPPGs require closer oversight,’ he said. According to data shared by Dadan, 3,144 reports have been submitted by beneficiaries. Of these, 3,135 reports (99.71%) stated the meals received were fit for consumption, with only nine reports indicating unfit meals. In terms of distribution, 3,076 reports (97.84%) indicated meals were delivered on time or earlier than scheduled, while 68 reports noted delivery delays. Furthermore, 3,128 reports (99.49%) stated the food aroma was acceptable, with only 16 reports indicating unacceptable odours. Regarding presentation, 3,122 reports (99.30%) rated the meals as presentable, while 22 reports suggested otherwise.
