Head of Lombok Nutrition Service Unit Questioned by Police Over Alleged Sexual Harassment

The Head of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) for Perapen 01, Praya District, Salman Alfarizi, also known as SA, has been questioned by police over alleged sexual harassment reported by his subordinate, BS (21). Salman was examined by investigators from the Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit for several hours today.

“It is true (there was an examination),” said AKP Punguan Hutahaean via WhatsApp on Wednesday (12/8/2026).

Punguan stated that the examination was conducted to clarify the report filed by BS against Salman. The questioning took place from morning until midday at the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Central Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit. “I heard the examination has just finished,” he noted.

Punguan mentioned that the police will next seek statements from criminal law experts and a psychologist. These expert testimonies are intended to clarify whether there are elements of a criminal offence in the case. “Next, the examination of experts, a psychologist,” he stressed.

Previously, Salman was reported by BS to the Central Lombok Police on 30 July 2026 over the alleged sexual harassment. The report was made after BS’s account of the alleged unpleasant treatment by her superior went viral on social media.

Salman has denied the accusations, stating that the matter was merely a misunderstanding. “I would like to clarify what is circulating on social media, that there was no harassment whatsoever. It was just a misunderstanding,” Salman said during a clarification to the press on Tuesday (28/7/2026).

Salman also claimed the issue had been resolved amicably with the victim’s family and the parties involved. “We, from the family and others, have no problem. Because there is nothing being disputed. There was no harassment whatsoever,” he said.
