Head of BPJPH Inaugurates New Classrooms in NTB Funded by ICCV Australia Donation
The inauguration serves as a symbol that halal values are realised not only through guaranteed products and services but also through contributions to community welfare, including the field of education. The presence of proper classrooms is expected to provide a better learning environment for students and open greater opportunities for their future.
Ahmad Haikal Hasan expressed his appreciation to ICCV Australia and the Heart to Hati Foundation for their commitment to supporting the improvement of education quality for Indonesian children. “I express my highest gratitude and appreciation to ICCV Australia and the Heart to Hati Foundation for bringing tangible benefits to the people of North Lombok. What is being done today demonstrates that values of kindness and care can transcend borders, cultures, and generations,” Haikal stated in a written release on Wednesday.
These remarks were made by Ahmad Haikal during his speech at the inauguration ceremony held at SDN 2 Sigar Penjalin, North Lombok Regency, on Tuesday. According to Haikal, the spirit of ‘halal’ is essentially the spirit of providing the widest possible benefits for life. Therefore, every effort that supports education and human resource development is part of the endeavour to achieve common welfare.
“Halal is not just about what we consume, but also about how we bring goodness to others. When children obtain more adequate learning spaces, we are truly making the best investment for the nation’s future. From these classrooms, a generation of knowledgeable and ethical individuals will emerge, capable of contributing to society,” he continued.
He added that education is the primary foundation for realising a progressive and competitive Indonesia. Consequently, collaboration between various parties in supporting access to education must be continuously strengthened. “Nation-building cannot be done alone. It requires collaboration, mutual cooperation, and care from all elements of society. What we are witnessing today is a real example of how the spirit of humanity can bring changes that are directly felt by the community,” said Haikal.
The ‘Build Their Future Charity Campaign’ is a humanitarian initiative aimed at assisting the provision of educational facilities for children in needy areas. Through the construction of more adequate learning facilities, the programme is expected to enhance the quality of the learning process while providing new hope for the younger generation.
The inauguration was attended by representatives from ICCV Australia, the Heart to Hati Foundation, local government, school officials, community leaders, parents, and students of SDN 2 Sigar Penjalin. The ceremony highlighted how international cooperation can cross geographical boundaries for the noble purpose of building a better future for children.
