Head Infested with Maggots: Latest Condition of Bandung Abuse Victim Revealed

The victim, identified by the initial YTR, is currently undergoing intensive treatment in an isolation room at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung. Her sister-in-law, Melanie, revealed the extent of the severe injuries sustained during three years of captivity and torture by her boyfriend, identified as TH.

According to Melanie, the victim’s right eye has been severely damaged, while her left eye has shrunk. Her upper lip was nearly severed, reportedly cut with scissors, and her teeth were knocked out due to punches and blows from hard objects. The victim’s knees also sustained deep wounds from being hacked.

The victim’s head was severely injured, leading to swelling and infection. The wound festered to the point that it emitted pus and became infested with maggots. Melanie stated that when the family first saw the victim after shaving her head for medical treatment, they were horrified to find maggots nesting in the scalp wound.

Upon being reunited with her family at the hospital, the victim was conscious and repeatedly apologized for her actions, a moment that deeply pained her relatives.
