Property company PT Minahasa Membangun Hebat (HBAT) is reportedly set to be acquired by Harita Group conglomerate, according to Jakarta-based CNBC Indonesia.

HBAT’s Corporate Secretary Aini Wulansari stated that discussions are currently ongoing, and if the talks conclude successfully, the process will move to due diligence. HBAT declined to comment specifically on the potential Harita Group move at this stage, citing undisclosed details, but affirmed openness to collaborations that could strengthen the company’s position. ‘Should there be any material developments requiring public disclosure, we will communicate them transparently through the Indonesia Stock Exchange in accordance with applicable regulations,’ Wulansari said in a written statement on Tuesday (26 May 2026).

HBAT emphasises careful consideration of strategic moves, prioritising prudence, business continuity, and the best interests of shareholders and stakeholders. Over the past three months, HBAT’s shares have surged 64.95% to Rp480, with a 27.85% rise since the start of 2026. Despite a recent 7.13% market decline over seven days, the stock has maintained significant gains.
