Hatchback Segment Growing Quieter: Options and Prices as of April 2026

JAKARTA - Although PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has announced it will no longer produce the City Hatchback RS, the model is still listed on its official website. The Honda City Hatchback RS is marketed at a price of Rp 384.5 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta. Its price is only slightly lower than the HR-V, which starts at Rp 387.6 million. However, with production halted, any available units are likely from remaining stock. Not only Honda, but Mazda has also announced it will no longer market the Mazda2. Yet, based on its official website, the model is still displayed with a price of Rp 371.1 million. This 1,500 cc engine car comes in two type options: 3 airbag one tone and 3 airbag dual tone. The variant choices have now reduced. This is because, at the beginning of March 2026, Toyota still offered the Yaris with more diverse airbag options.
