Hassle-Free Charging, Experience Using Lexus Exclusive Charging Point

JAKARTA – In addition to introducing electrification technology across its product range, Lexus Indonesia is strengthening the ownership experience through its Lexus Exclusive Charging Point service.

This facility is designed to facilitate users of Lexus electrified vehicles in accessing charging services, particularly at strategic locations such as shopping centres and official dealerships.

Prior to commencing the Jakarta–Yogyakarta journey in the Electrification Journey Festival 2026 programme, the writer charged a Lexus NX 450h+ F Sport at the Lexus Exclusive Charging Point facility at Central Park, West Jakarta.

The charging area is situated at an exclusive, easily accessible location that provides security whilst the vehicle is left unattended.

During charging, the battery condition was approximately 30 per cent. Within roughly one hour, capacity had increased to 80 per cent.

This timeframe proved sufficiently efficient as it could be utilised for rest or preparation of travel equipment within the shopping centre.

Notably, all charging services are provided at no cost to Lexus users.

This experience demonstrates that charging does not necessarily have to be a time-consuming activity. With the location situated within commercial hubs, the charging process can be conducted whilst carrying out other activities, thereby not disrupting daily mobility.

The aforementioned facility is part of the Lexus Exclusive Charging Network, which has been established by Lexus Indonesia to support users of electrified vehicles.
