FUJIOKA, Japan (AFP): Overnight leader Aiko Hashimoto played steady golf to stretch her lead to three strokes after the third round in the US$460,000 Twin Lakes Open women's golf tournament yesterday.
The Japanese shot three birdies and no bogies to card 69 for a three-round total of seven under par 209 on the 6,254-yard Twin Lakes Country Club course, ahead of her nearest rival Tseng Hsiu- feng of Taiwan at 212.
Shin Sora of South Korea, who captured her first title on the Japan tour three weeks ago, carded a 69 for a third place tie with Japan's Kaori Harada to trail Hashimoto by four strokes at 213.
