Hashim Djojohadikusumo Finally Witnesses IKN Development Directly, Expresses Optimism

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Hashim Djojohadikusumo has visited the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) on an official visit to witness directly the progress of area development and to discuss the future of IKN.

Hashim was accompanied by Aryo Djojohadikusumo and IKN Authority Chief (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono.

After visiting and observing IKN’s construction progress, Hashim assessed that the success of IKN’s development was increasingly tangible.

“In a relatively short period of time, the Nusantara Capital City has advanced significantly. Infrastructure, housing, office buildings and so forth are becoming increasingly tangible,” said Hashim as quoted from the official OIKN Instagram account @otorita_ikn on Monday 16 March 2026.

Hashim expressed optimism that IKN’s development would be a positive indicator for the future of the national capital.

“I believe this is a good sign for the future of the National Capital, the Nusantara Capital City,” explained Hashim.

For Hashim, the success of the Nusantara Capital City’s development was increasingly evident. This optimism indicated that IKN’s development is not merely an infrastructure project, but an effort to build a better future for Indonesia.
