Hasan Nasbi and Budi Arie Queue to Visit Jokowi in Solo: What Did They Discuss?

A number of officials and former officials visited the residence of Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Sumber Ward, Banjarsari Subdistrict, Solo City, which was still thronged by residents. Among them were Hasan Nasbi and Budi Arie.

Pertamina commissioner and former Head of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Hasan Nasbi, was seen arriving with another Pertamina commissioner, Condro Kirono.

Hasan said that when Jokowi was in Jakarta, he had not had the chance to meet because he was out of town. So he only managed to meet in Solo.

“Together with friends who are in Solo, and I just got the schedule today. Apparently, he (Jokowi) only returned to Solo yesterday. In Jakarta the other day, I didn’t have time because I had just come back from out of town. Alhamdulillah, I got the opportunity amid the long queue, it seems there are thousands who want to exchange greetings with him,” Hasan told reporters, as quoted by detikJateng, Wednesday (25/3/2026).

He claimed there was no special discussion in the meeting. Because in this Eid moment, the focus of the meeting is for silaturahmi.

“We just chatted casually. Just ordinary chat, like talking about the situation, sharing, that’s it. No special discussion,” he said.

In addition, former Cooperatives Minister and Projo Chairman, Budi Arie, also came to meet Jokowi. He said he was only scheduled to meet Jokowi today.

“This is the Eid al-Fitr atmosphere, we are exchanging greetings, because father just returned yesterday from Jakarta,” said Budi.

Like Hasan Nasbi, Budi Arie said there was no special discussion with Jokowi.

“There isn’t any (special discussion), it’s an Eid event. Eid is Eid, no political talk,” he said.
