Hasan Fawzi Appointed as Capital Markets Supervisor at Indonesia's Financial Services Authority
Jakarta — Indonesia’s House of Representatives Commission XI has approved Hasan Fawzi to fill the vacancy in the position of Executive Head of Capital Markets, Derivatives and Carbon Exchange Supervision at the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Before this, Hasan Fawzi served as Director of Development at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), a position to which he was appointed by the General Meeting of Shareholders on 29 June 2018.
According to the OJK website, Fawzi was born in Purwakarta on 27 April 1970. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1993 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from LÍAE de Grenoble, Université Pierre Mendès France. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management (MM) from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Indonesia, obtained in 2008.
Fawzi began his career at PT Indonesian Clearing and Depository Institute with his last position as Head of Systems Development Department (1993-1997). He then joined the Indonesian Futures Clearing House with his final position as Head of Information Technology Division (1997-2008).
