Hartono to see generals graduate
JAKARTA (JP): Army Chief of Staff Gen. R. Hartono will see 24 generals and dozens of other high-rank military and civilian officials graduate from the Military Law School today.
Antara reported yesterday that Hartono will lead the commencement of, among others, State Minister of Administrative Reforms Gen. (ret) T.B. Silalahi and Army Strategic Reserves Command Chief Lt. Gen. Wiranto.
Also graduating today are Maj. Gen. Yusuf Kartanegara, the intelligence assistant to the Army's chief of general affairs; military police chief Brig. Gen. Syamsu D; Maj. Gen. Adang Ruchiatna; and Maj. Gen. Pranowo.
Other graduates include Maj. Gen. Paul Toding, Lt. Gen. (ret) Soegiarto, the Army's Staff and Command School Commander Maj. Gen. Arifin Tarigan, and former Army spokesman Brig. Gen. Affifudin Thahib.
From the rank of colonel, graduating are chief provost of the Jakarta Military Command, Col. Djasri, and Yogyakarta Military Commander Col. A.R. Ghaffar.
Silalahi will deliver a speech during the ceremony today, Antara reported. (swe)
