Hariyanto reaches HK third round

JAKARTA (JP): Hariyanto Arbi went easily into the third round
of the US$125,000 Hong Kong Open badminton championships on
Wednesday.

The world number one beat Malaysia's Lo Ah Heng 15-5, 15-9 in
the first round, and routed China's Chen Huang 15-2, 15-3 in the
second.

Hariyanto's teammate, George Rimardi, labored before nailing a
first round 7-15, 15-1, 15-7 win over China's Kuang Biao. In the
second round, George stopped Italy's Gianmarco La Rosa with a 15-
6, 15-4 win. (arf)
