Harita Nickel records Rp17.1 trillion in revenue for first half of 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL), known as Harita Nickel, recorded revenue of Rp17.1 trillion in the first semester of 2026, supported by operational discipline and the optimisation of production capacity.
Harita Nickel’s Finance Director, Suparsin Darmo Liwan, stated that the company continues to strive to maintain operational performance amidst challenges in the global nickel industry.
“Throughout the first semester of this year, the global nickel industry has continued to face various challenges. In these conditions, we remain focused on maintaining efficient, reliable, and measurable operations across our integrated value chain. The optimisation of production capacity has begun to contribute to sales performance across several segments,” Suparsim said in an official statement in Jakarta on Saturday.
The integrated nickel mining and processing company released its financial report for the period ending 30 June 2026.
According to him, amidst the dynamics of the global nickel industry, the company remains focused on operational efficiency, the optimisation of the integrated value chain, and the strengthening of responsible business practices to ensure production reliability and support long-term growth.
From an operational perspective, the improvement in nickel ore sales performance compared to the same period last year also supported the company’s achievements. This increase was supported by the commencement of operations at the new mining facility of PT Gane Tambang Sentosa (GTS) since the third quarter of 2025, as well as the expansion of production lines at the pyrometallurgical facility of PT Karunia Permai Sentosa (KPS).
In the pyrometallurgical segment, ferronickel sales increased compared to the same period last year, primarily driven by increased output from additional production lines at the Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) facility owned by KPS. Meanwhile, High Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) product sales in the hydrometallurgical segment were influenced by delivery schedules.
The gradual optimisation of production capacity across various facilities is expected to increase operational flexibility while maintaining supply reliability to meet customer needs.
Regarding sustainability, the company is also developing several decarbonisation initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. One such initiative involves the use of waste heat recovery technology at the HPAL facility, designed to generate up to 50 MW of electricity, which is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026.
