Hari Raya Allowance Disbursement for Civil Servants, Military and Police: First Week of Ramadan, Says Purbaya
Jakarta — Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has announced that Hari Raya holiday allowances (THR) for civil servants (ASN/PNS), military personnel (TNI) and police (Polri) will be disbursed during the first week of the fasting month.
He made the statement when met at the House of Representatives complex in Senayan, Jakarta.
“The first week of fasting, very soon,” Purbaya said on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.
Previously, Purbaya had also conveyed that the government has budgeted Rp 55 trillion for the 2026 THR payments for civil servants, military personnel and police officers, with disbursement targeted for the beginning of Ramadan.
He made the earlier remarks after attending the Indonesia Economic Outlook 2026 event held at Wisma Danantara, Jakarta.
“There will definitely be THR disbursement for civil servants. But I don’t know the exact date — what is clear is that we hope to have it disbursed at the beginning of the fasting month,” Purbaya said on Friday, 13 February 2026.
The THR components funded from the state budget (APBN) comprise basic salary, family allowance, food allowance, position/general allowance and performance allowance.
Meanwhile, teachers and lecturers who do not receive performance allowances are instead given a professional teacher’s allowance or professional lecturer’s allowance equivalent to one month’s payment. For probationary civil servants (CPNS), the components are the same except that the basic salary element is calculated at 80 per cent.
