The momentum of National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026 serves as an opportunity to strengthen synergies between higher education institutions and national priority programmes, as well as a comprehensive and sustainable education transformation. Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Mendiktisaintek), Brian Yuliarto, on Saturday (2/5), stressed that higher education institutions must become the backbone of research and innovation to realise national self-reliance in the midst of global turbulence.
