Jakarta - Energy issuer PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA), owned by Happy Hapsoro, plans to execute a stock split with a 1:5 ratio, whereby each existing share will be split into five new shares. Based on information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the nominal value of the shares will change from Rp25 per share to Rp5 per share after the stock split. Meanwhile, the number of issued and fully paid shares will increase from 4.23 billion shares to 21.14 billion shares. Management explained that the share split plan was made considering that RAJA’s share price has reached a relatively high level. Based on the closing price on 12 May 2026 of Rp4,170 per share, the minimum investment value for one lot of the company’s shares is considered less affordable for some investors. Through this corporate action, the company owned by the husband of Puan Maharani hopes that share trading liquidity can increase along with the more affordable share price in the market. Additionally, the stock split is expected to broaden the investor base and enhance the attractiveness of RAJA’s shares in the capital market. ‘The increase in the number of outstanding shares after the implementation of the share split is expected to increase the frequency and volume of the Company’s share transactions, so that the liquidity of the Company’s share trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange improves,’ as quoted on Wednesday (10/6/2026). This corporate action will first seek shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for Tuesday, 23 June 2026. The stock split implementation schedule will begin with the last trading date of shares with the old nominal value on the cash market on 15 July 2026. On the same date, the company will also determine the shareholder register and securities account holders entitled to receive shares resulting from the stock split (recording date). Subsequently, the distribution of shares with the new nominal value to entitled shareholders will be carried out on 16 July 2026. After this process is completed, the number of outstanding RAJA shares will increase from 4.23 billion shares to 21.14 billion shares. Amidst the news, RAJA shares had risen 10% to Rp3,630 by 11:11 Western Indonesia Time. The company’s market capitalisation reached Rp15.39 trillion.
