The People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) is beginning to attract interest from various politicians and members of other political parties. This phenomenon has emerged alongside massive organisational consolidation efforts reaching the grassroots level in various regions.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Task Force of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Hanura Party, Patrice Rio Capella, while leading a technical meeting of the Task Force team in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on Tuesday night. The meeting was attended by officials from the Regional Leadership Council (DPD), Regional Leadership Branch (DPC), members of the Hanura Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) across NTB, and the Hanura central elite.

“Several people from other parties have contacted me. Among them are those currently serving as members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) from other party factions,” said Rio.

Rio added that the interest of political figures in the party led by Oesman Sapta Odje (OSO) is strengthening as the party’s political machinery shows significant progress. He noted that the public perceives this iteration of Hanura to be different and more serious than in the past.

He emphasised that Hanura’s movement will continue across all levels of society, accompanied by an openness to potential figures. “I have friends in almost all major parties who predict that Hanura will rise and roar. There is likely a calculation regarding their positions in their old parties. If they do not secure a suitable position or a good number, in Hanura, we will give them number one,” he asserted.

The primary strategy to attract potential members is measured internal improvement. According to Rio, party solidity serves as a natural attraction without the need for excessive persuasion. “If the structure is 100% completed, people will come. They will see that this party is being managed seriously. We do not convince people through persuasion, but by preparing the party to be more solid, working earlier, and having a complete structure.”

Rio expressed appreciation for the near-completion of Hanura’s infrastructure in NTB. The party’s main target is not merely to participate, but to secure seats in the national legislature (Senayan) for the 2029 General Election. He warned that the main enemy of Hanura is the laziness of its members, stating that by January 2027, the party’s structure will be fully operational across all provinces, regencies, districts, and villages.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Hanura DPD NTB, Ahmad Dahlan, confirmed the full readiness of all officials across 10 regencies/cities to face factual verification and increase the number of seats in the regional legislature. “From the 10 regencies/cities in NTB Province, 117 sub-district level committees (PAC) have been ratified. That is almost 100%. We promise that Hanura NTB is ready to work to win the 2029 Election,” concluded Dahlan.
