Pekanbaru, VIVA – The Hanura Party is optimistic about achieving better results in the 2029 General Election. This optimism has strengthened after the Hanura Central Executive Board (DPP) Task Force visited the 21st province, out of 38 provinces in Indonesia, to conduct internal consolidation.

The Chairman of the Hanura DPP Task Force, Patrice Rio Capella, stated that his team has gained a clear picture of the field conditions, as well as the spirit and militancy of the cadres, from the 2cap provinces visited by the Task Force. He is optimistic that Hanura will achieve significant improvements and is ready to face the upcoming democratic contest.

“From the 21 provinces we have visited, there is no doubt and no hesitation. They are confident that Hanura can rise in the upcoming 2029 election,” he said following a consolidation and technical meeting between the Hanura DPP Task Force and the Hanura DPD and DPC across Riau Province at the Grand Central Hotel, Pekanbaru, Riau, on Tuesday (6/10/2026).

During the visit, Rio was accompanied by the Secretary of the Hanura DPP Task Force, Phil Hanurani Prajanto, Treasurer of the Task Force, Indah Sri Rezeki, and four members: Ratna Ester Lumban Tobing, Yossie Indra Pramana, Che Raihan, and Yusuf.

They met with the ranks of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD), Branch Leadership Council (DPC) or district and city-level officials, as well as members of the Hanura Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) throughout Riau Province. During the activity, the Hanura DPP provided assistance amounting to Rp 105 million to support efforts to strengthen structures at the grassroots level.

Continuing his statement, Rio said that organisational consolidation in 17 provinces will continue to be carried out to complete and strengthen regional management structures. “Consolidation will continue until all Sub-District Leadership (kecamatan level) are 100 per cent complete by the end of October 2026,” he added.

As part of the Hanura DPP Task Force’s series of visits, Rio continued, the party is conducting intensive communication with DPC officials in all regions, while simultaneously sharing experiences regarding efforts to enhance roles and organisational management. He believes that these conditions will serve as capital to prepare Hanura’s political machinery for the 2029 General Election.

“Today, the spirit of Hanura cadres is different from the 2024 Election. Today, optimism, confidence, and the enthusiasm to face the upcoming election have emerged,” he asserted.
