Hanura Denies Owning Foundations Affiliated with Free Nutritious Meal Programme Management

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Hanura Party has denied allegations that it possesses foundations affiliated with the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG).

“The DPP of the Hanura Party asserts that information circulated by certain parties via social media regarding the existence of ‘two foundations owned by the Hanura Party’ involved in MBG management is a hoax and a form of public disinformation, suspected of aiming to discredit and damage the reputation of the Hanura Party,” said the Vice Chairman for Law, Human Rights, and People’s Advocacy, Adil Supatra Akbar, at the Hanura DPP Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday.

Adil stated that the Hanura Party deemed it necessary to issue an official clarification to the public as a form of moral and political responsibility to maintain the integrity and reputation of the party.

The Hanura DPP, represented by the Secretary General and the Vice Chairman for Law and People’s Advocacy, also visited the Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) office to clarify the information circulating in the public sphere directly.

However, following the clarification, ICW has never included or mentioned the existence of “two Hanura Party Foundations” in its published research documents available to the public.

Adil explained that the information circulating on social media is substantially different from the official ICW research findings. Consequently, the circulating information falls entirely outside of ICW’s responsibility.

“This includes information claiming the existence of ‘two Hanura Party Foundations’ in the management of MBG; such information was never listed or found in the ICW research documents that have been published and made public,” he said.

Nevertheless, in its report, ICW noted that the founders, managers, or supervisors of a foundation may be affiliated with various different parties. This allows certain foundations to be included in affiliation counts for more than one party.

The investigation also identified four members of the 2024–2029 legislative period who are part of foundations partnering with the MBG programme. Among them is Raden Ayu Amrina Rosyada, a member of the Ogan Ilir Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) from the Hanura Party, who is registered as a founder of the Sahabat Pelangi Foundation.

Adil stated that the individual’s involvement in the management of the MBG is an action taken in a personal capacity and has no organisational connection to the Hanura Party.

“Similarly, regarding the Sahabat Pelangi Foundation, although Ms Raden Ayu Amrina Rosyada is recorded as one of the founders, this does not automatically make the foundation a property of the Hanura Party. Therefore, the accusation stating that the Sahabat Pelangi Foundation is a Hanura Party foundation is untrue and misleading,” he said.

The Hanura DPP ensured that it will soon summon Raden Ayu Amrina Rosyada through the Party’s Ethics Council to request an official explanation and statement in accordance with organisational mechanisms and the principles of internal political accountability.

“And strict party sanctions will certainly be imposed on anyone within the party, including Hanura Party DPRD members, who have acted outside the responsibilities of the party and the state,” Adil emphasised.

The Hanura Party itself emphasised that, in principle, it views the MBG programme as a strategic and important programme for the people, particularly in strengthening the quality of Indonesia’s human resources in the future.

Hanura also encouraged the importance of strengthening governance, transparency, professionalism, and oversight systems in its implementation.
