Hanura Denies Managing Free Nutritious Meal Kitchen Foundation: It's a Hoax
The Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Hanura Party has clarified accusations and hoax narratives regarding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Programme. Hanura denied having a foundation affiliated with the management of the MBG Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) kitchens.
Deputy Chairman of the DPP Hanura for OKK, Akhmad Muqowam, stressed that information in the form of narratives, flyers, and videos containing allegations about a Hanura Party-owned foundation being involved in MBG management is untrue. He confirmed that his party had attempted to verify and clarify the information widely circulated on social media.
‘The DPP of the Hanura Party deems it necessary to convey an official clarification to the public as a form of moral and political responsibility, in maintaining the integrity and good name of the party,’ Muqowam said during a press conference at the Hanura DPP Office in Jakarta on Wednesday, 10 June 2026.
He explained that the Hanura DPP visited the Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) office on Jalan Kalibata Timur, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, 9 June 2026. According to him, the meeting aimed to clarify and confirm the information circulating in the public domain.
‘The Hanura DPP was represented by Secretary-General Benny Rhamdani and Deputy Chairman for Law, Human Rights, and People’s Advocacy, Adil Supatra Akbar. During the meeting, we were received by Mr Azim and Mr Maulana from ICW. The clarification and confirmation process lasted approximately 40 minutes,’ he stated.
Meanwhile, Adil Supatra Akbar outlined the contents of the meeting. Among other things, he revealed that the information circulating on social media, whether in narrative, flyer, or video form, differed from ICW’s official research findings and was outside ICW’s responsibility.
‘This includes information mentioning ’two Hanura Party foundations’ in the MBG management. That was never listed or found in the ICW research document that has been published and become public consumption,’ he said.
In its research document, Adil continued, ICW stated that 28 foundations, or 27.45 per cent of the 102 partner foundations organising MBG that were investigated, have formal political affiliations. These affiliations arise from alleged relationships held by individuals within the foundations with political parties.
