Hanura chairman gives five directives to cadres ahead of 2029 election

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the Hanura Party DPP Task Force, Patrice Rio Capella, conveyed five messages from Hanura Party Chairman Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) to all officials and cadres in South Kalimantan in facing the 2029 General Election.

“Hanura Party Chairman Mr. Dr. Oesman Sapta has given a message to all of us. He conveyed five daily messages that must become the guiding principles for all cadres,” said Rio in a written statement in Jakarta on Monday.

Rio conveyed the five messages during a consolidation and technical meeting with all DPD, DPC officials and Hanura Party council members throughout South Kalimantan in Banjarbaru City on Sunday (30/8).

Rio said the five messages emphasise the direction of the party’s struggle in strengthening organisational consolidation while preparing all of Hanura’s political machinery to face the 2029 General Election.

OSO’s first message was to affirm that the Hanura Party is not a partisan party nor a party that follows the interests of certain groups.

“Hanura must be a party that upholds truth and justice, especially in fighting for regional progress and the interests of the community, including in South Kalimantan,” said Rio.

The second message called on all cadres to maintain solidity, consistency and focus in carrying out the party’s agenda. This is important because Hanura must prepare itself to face the verification stages as well as build political strength to win the 2029 General Election.

The third message from the Chairman asked all cadres and officials who have been given responsibility to start working immediately. Everyone entrusted with leading the party structure in the regions must carry out their duties by conducting consolidation, not merely occupying positions.

Rio stressed that officials who do not work and instead become a burden on the structure above them need to be evaluated so as not to hinder the party’s overall work.

The fourth message asked all cadres to begin preparing seriously for the 2029 General Election. In the next year, Hanura will deploy its strength to strengthen the organisational structure and conduct consolidation down to the grassroots level. Strengthening the party machinery is considered an important foundation for Hanura to be able to face the election stages and increase its political gains in 2029.

The fifth message from Oesman Sapta affirmed that victory belongs to all cadres and cannot be achieved by one party alone. Therefore, the struggle must be carried out together with sincerity as one of the main strengths of Hanura cadres.

On that occasion, Patrice also emphasised that the conditions currently faced by Hanura require extraordinary seriousness. According to him, party consolidation cannot be carried out in an ordinary manner if Hanura wants to rise and win the 2029 General Election.

He asked all ranks in South Kalimantan to make the Chairman’s messages a work guideline, especially in strengthening the organisational structure, ensuring all officials carry out their duties, and maintaining cadre solidity so that no internal problems hinder the party’s political targets towards the 2029 General Election.

Prior to the consolidation and technical meeting, Hanura also held a leisurely walk involving 3,000 participants from 13 districts and cities in South Kalimantan.

The leisurely walk started from the courtyard of the Hanura Party DPD Office of South Kalimantan in Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru, with participants seen wearing red and white sports attire and the Lion Head logo.

The leisurely walk was held as part of the organisational consolidation series as well as to enliven the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. Participants covered a route of approximately 3.5 kilometres from the Hanura DPD office in South Kalimantan to the Sayed Jafar Alaydrus (SJA) Building.

Along the way, participants walked in groups in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The committee also prepared a number of prizes for participants who completed the activity to the finish line.

Head of the Hanura DPP Task Force, Patrice Rio Capella, together with Chairman of the Hanura DPD of South Kalimantan, Sayed Jafar Alaydrus, also took part in the leisurely walk with the participants. The activity also served as a momentum to strengthen ties between party officials, cadres, sympathisers and the community.
