Hanura Central Board Threatens to Replace Regional Officials Lacking Consolidation
The Hanura Party’s Central Executive Board (DPP) has threatened to replace regional officials deemed slow in executing party consolidation. Officials unable to keep pace with the party’s work rhythm are said to be replaceable by more energetic cadres.
“If 1,000 sheep are led by a lion, they will move forward. But if 1,000 lions are led by a sheep, then we will replace the sheep,” said Hanura Party Vice Chairman Patrice Rio Capella following a party consolidation meeting in Kuta, Badung, Bali, on Wednesday (2/9/2026).
Rio stated that Hanura conducts management evaluations every three months. Monitoring is carried out through an internal application to track development down to the lowest structural levels.
“This party will continue to conduct evaluations every three months to observe the party’s progress. When there is a delay, we replace them quickly,” said the Chairman of the Hanura DPP Task Force.
According to Rio, management changes have already been implemented in several regions that failed to meet targets. In Banten, for instance, the Pandeglang and Serang City branch committees (DPC) were replaced, and the new officials were able to complete the formation of 35 sub-district branches (PAC) in a short period.
“We initially replaced two regencies in Banten, namely Pandeglang and Serang City, with new, more energetic officials. They completed their 35 PACs in a short time because they are prominent figures in those areas,” he said.
Targeting National Consolidation by Early October
Rio stated that national consolidation is targeted for completion by early October. Out of 514 DPCs, approximately 400 have been formed, while the remainder are in the process of receiving official decrees (SK).
“From the 514 DPCs, nearly 470 are ready, while the others are in the process of decree issuance. Our target is that by early October, all DPCs will be finalised, reaching 100 per cent across 7,300 sub-districts,” he explained.
Once the DPC and PAC consolidation is complete, Hanura will open the recruitment process for legislative candidates next year to determine the 2028 candidates. The party will also conduct surveys across all provinces.
“We will open the next stage for legislative candidates next year to determine who will run in 2028. Simultaneously, we will conduct Hanura surveys in all provinces, including Bali,” Rio Capella clarified.
Gianyar Facing Internal Disagreements
Specifically for Bali, Rio assessed that Hanura’s management structure is almost 100 per cent complete. However, the Gianyar Regency DPC still faces internal consolidation issues.
“Today, we believe Bali is quite stable, nearly 100 per cent. However, in Gianyar, there were reports that emotional consolidation within the management has not been resolved; although the structure exists, there is no unified perception,” Rio Capella noted.
The Chairman of the Hanura Party Bali Provincial Board, Gde Wirajaya Wisna, appreciated the direct supervision from the DPP Task Force. He noted that such steps help regional branches prepare for party stages in accordance with KPU (General Elections Commission) standards.
“We from the Hanura Bali Provincial Board appreciate the Hanura DPP Task Force team for having a programme to monitor directly and engage in dialogue with the regions. There are many benefits and a mindset we are building to face the KPU stages,” said Wirajaya Wisna.
He ensured that the Hanura ranks in Bali would promptly resolve various management obstacles.
“The spirit and direction provided by the Task Force team motivate us to rise as quickly as possible to complete the party’s administrative instruments. All instructions can be finalised as soon as possible, particularly in Bali,” concluded Wirajaya Wisna.
