Hankook Distributes Sacrificial Animals to Plant Operational Areas, Ensures Tangible Impact on Local Communities

PT Hankook Tire Indonesia (HTI) has once again distributed sacrificial animals through local authorities to Cicau Village in Cikarang Pusat, Bekasi, in commemoration of Idul Adha 1447 Hijriyah. This annual activity demonstrates Hankook’s tangible commitment to supporting communities living near its plant operations.

This year, the company donated a total of 3.5 tonnes of livestock, comprising eight cattle and six goats. In addition to distributing to Cicau Village residents through village officials and local mosque management, one cow was also donated to a mosque within the Indonesian Ministry of Trade complex.

Hankook Tire Indonesia’s President Director, Jung Jinkyun, symbolically presented the donation to Cicau Village Head Maman Fahlevi. Several Hankook employees also participated in the slaughter and distribution process, ensuring coordinated and unimpeded delivery while actively engaging with the community to strengthen ties.

“Through this initiative, we remain committed to fostering closer relationships with local communities and sharing joy during Idul Adha celebrations. As a company operating in Indonesia and growing alongside the people, we are dedicated to upholding solidarity and supporting the welfare of those around our operations,” Jung stated.

Cicau Village Head Maman Fahlevi expressed gratitude for Hankook Tire’s consistent contributions to the village, adding, “This activity not only empowers local residents during Idul Adha but also strengthens the relationship between the company and the community.”

Since commencing operations in Indonesia in 2013, Hankook Tire Indonesia has actively implemented various social programs in the plant vicinity as part of its commitment to building long-term community relationships. These initiatives reflect the company’s efforts to grow alongside local communities through sustainable and relevant contributions.
